First harvest hypothesis for the Maremma’s Estate
The Sode di Sant’Angelo, in Massa Marittima, is already beginning to think about the next harvest.
According to the initial assessments, based on the mild climate and the good weather with lots of water when necessary, an excellent year is expected.
The harvest will in all probability suffer a slight delay compared to that of last year and therefore a late harvest is presumed for 2019.
The grapes will reach the right ripeness respecting the times and this could favor an increase in both weight and size and therefore quality.
The Sode di Sant’Angelo enjoy a strategic position and the proximity to the sea allows the vineyards to benefit from its mitigating action and to adapt to any type of climatic fluctuation.
Meanwhile, the company crossed their fingers and waited for the harvest, always working assiduously in the vineyard and keeping the situation under constant control.
